CPRJ：What technologies and new products will be displayed at CHINAPLAS 2010?
WFH：Hongchang will be showing the "Three-side-seal", automatic bag making machine. It is one of the company's well-developed, standard equipment. The model acquires many features and is driven by servo motor with personalized, PLC control interface system.
CPRJ：Responding to the changes in regional and application markets, what was the company's sales performance in 2009?
WFH：Last year our sales volume reached a new level despite the crisis. Among our product portfolio the "high-speed machines" sold very well. The series contributed to more than 75% of the total sales volume last year.
We can see the oversea market is slowing shrinking. On the other hand some regions in China such as Beijing/Tianjin, Northwest are picking up, while for medical, anti-static and fluid packaging the growths are significant.
CPRJ：What are the goals and plans set by Hongchang in 2010?
WFH：Firstly we are planning to set up a bag making machine institute in provincial-level – we have already lined up co-operations with the academics. We aim to provide the industry a place for professional training as well as platform for technology and information exchange.
Secondly we are looking at other alternative materials for bag making. Besides plastics we are exploring the possibility to manufacture paper-bag making equipment.
Lastly we are developing flexographic printing equipment used on paper.
CPRJ：What is your observation on the future development trend of your industry?
WFH：For the packaging printing industry the prospect is good. The economic growth in China has expanded people’s buying power. Consumers demand packaging with good quality and we also introducing them new equipment. We can foresee the food, medical and other applications are growing in global scale.
