Vietnam Rubber Enterprise Federation (VREF) revealed yesterday (July 28) it will further expand rubber plantation in Cambodia.
The federation will invest US$200 million, in addition to the US$600 million injection, which was already outlined in its three-years(2009-2012) strategic plan. Totally VREF will spend US$ 800 million in Cambodia.
The 14-member federation intends to plant a total of 100,000 hectares of rubber trees in land concessions in Kampong Thomg, Kratie, Stung Treng, Ratanakiri, and Mondulkiri.
