Lindauer Dornier GmbH, a film stretching lines producer headquartered in Germany, has recently announced their participation for attending this year's CHINAPLAS, which will take place during May 17-20 in Guangzhou.
The company has been working in specialty machines for 55 years and has since then supplied film stretching lines to film producers worldwide. In CHINAPLAS 2011, it will introduce information on customized solutions for production of mono- and biaxially oriented films. All kinds of film can be stretched on Dornier equipment, such as polyester, polypropylene, PVC, PEN, PA, PS or TAC.
Dornier says that with its machines and plants, it is possible to cover the requested thickness ranges, depending on application of film. For polyester condenser film plants are available for final thickness down to 1µm and a trimmed width of 5.5m, while thick film application plants are available up to a maximum film thickness of 400µm and a width up to 7m. For packaging application lines are available with a thickness range of 8-50µm, a trimmed width of 8.700mm and speeds up to 500m/min. For polypropylene application, film production lines are designed for a thickness of 10-50µm, a trimmed width of 8.700mm and production speeds of 500m/min.
For the polyester film production, Dornier supplies lines equipped with extruders. It also offers lines where the melt is provided from a polymerization unit.
Dornier says that presently, thick film applications are booming, especially for optical grade film used for LCD displays and so on, and the company's high-output polypropylene film production lines for food packaging and general packaging purpose remain important products from the company.
Dornier's booth at CHINAPLAS 2011 will be located in hall 5.1 at stand A34.
