Injection molding machine manufacturer Arburg GmbH + Co KG has recently announced that it will present an example of the company's Hidrive hybrid machine series, which targets for high productivity, short cycle times and energy efficiency.
This will be demonstrated by a large Allrounder 720 H with a clamping force of 3,200kN and size 2100 injection unit, featuring a high-speed, thin-walled application from the packaging sector. Another exhibit will be a hydraulic Allrounder 470 C Golden Edition machine, which combines high-tech with an attractive price.
"The high-tech products from our company are predestined for the high-end sector, which is small, but increasingly important in Chinese injection molding market," explained Zhao Tong, Arburg Subsidiary Manager in Shanghai.
"What counts in this market segment is the quality of machines with regard to precision and reproducibility. Moreover, availability and service life of the injection molding machines are important arguments in favor of our Allrounders," adds Max Man, Manager of Arburg's subsidiary in Shenzhen.
In order to demonstrate the breadth of the Arburg machine range, two different series will be shown at the CHINAPLAS: the hybrid Allrounder Hidrive and the hydraulic Golden Edition.
The Allrounder H machine concept has been specially designed for a high production capacity. Thanks to the hydraulic accumulator technology and the generously sized injection units, Allrounder H machines also boast a correspondingly high injection performance in relation to the clamping force.
High efficiency of the toggle-type clamping unit and servo-electric dosage drive allows the Allrounders for an energy-efficient operation. In addition, the energy recovery of the servo motors during braking also has a beneficial effect on the energy consumption of the machines.
As well as the servo-electric drives and braking energy recovery, Allrounder H machines also use performance-adapted hydraulic accumulator technology with the minimum amount of installed pump capacity and motors of efficiency class EFF1. As a result and depending on the application, the energy-saving potential of the Hidrive machines can be as much as 40%, Arburg says.
The second exhibit, Allrounder 470 C Golden Edition with a clamping force of 1,500kN belongs to the company's entry-level hydraulic machine series. Allrounder Golden Edition machines feature fixed clamping force/injection unit combinations and offer the usual Arburg high-quality technical components at a unique price/performance ratio.
During CHINAPLAS, Auburg will exhibit at stand No. A41 in Hall 5.1.
