The Lehvoss Group will highlight its LUVOSINT and LUVOCOM 3F product lines at Formnext 2017, taking place in Frankfurt, Germany from November 14-17.

These products have been adapted to the most common 3D printing processes, such as powder fusion and fused filament fabrication (FFF).

Alongside already established materials, new developments in the fields of high-temperature and reinforced materials are also being premiered. Examples include easy-to-print PAEK materials free of warpage with optimized z strength.

Also being presented will be a new safety concept for robotics, which has been made possible by LUVOSINT thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). Airskin is a development by Blue Danube Robotics and permits safer man-machine interaction.

This process involves (individually) enveloping the robot with a sensitive, printed TPU skin. It currently represents the safest system of its kind, according to the company.
