At K 2019 fairgrounds, Chinese plastics machine manufactures shine with showcases of their latest high-tech equipment and technologies. These eye-catchers attract crowds of visitors, which also demonstrates the fast upgrading of technological capabilities of the Chinese plastics processing industry.

K 2019 houses a total of more than 3,300 exhibitors, with an exhibition area of 178,000sqm. Among them, 509 come from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, occupying an exhibition area of 16,420sqm and ranking third in the participating countries/regions.

Haitian presents the 3rd technology generation

Haitian International presents its 3rd technology generation with the focuses on upgraded technology, modular concept and open integration.

The 3rd technology generation from Haitian combines innovative new developments in hardware and software with beneficial optimization of machine models – both in the servo-hydraulic top sellers from Haitian and in the electric pioneer series from the Zhafir brand.

The Zhafir Zeres F Series is a dynamic solution for packaging. It is an electric all-rounder with integrated hydraulic drive. ZE2300F-830h – based on the latest 3rd generation technology from Zhafir – produces a 4-cavity lid with IML, both made of PP, in a Sepro Robotique production cell.

Moreover, Haitian Mars III Series is an economical solution for consumer goods. The servo-hydraulic bestseller presents itself in the 3rd generation with new motors, new machine design and many other improvements analogous to the Jupiter III Series.

An MA1700III/plus produces bottle openers made of PP with insert technology, integrated in a production cell including a Hilectro robot from Haitian Drive Systems.

YIZUMI demonstrates ReactPro polyurethane in-mold coating solution

As a leading manufacturer, YIZUMI presents a spectrum of innovative solutions at K 2019, with the ReactPro polyurethane in-mold coating solution taking center stage.

The YIZUMI UN500DP two-platen injection molding machine, equipped with SmartClamp intelligent clamping system, integrating Frimo PU system and InPUR “1+2” mold technology, realize one-step molding of automotive engine cover with partially high-gloss surface.

Compare with traditional coating process, YIZUMI ReactPro reduces production steps, greatly saved costs and can avoid environmental pollution caused by coating process. The solution is mainly used in the upgrading of automobile interior parts, bringing better texture and more high-quality surface finishing.

It is also worth mentioning that the YIZUMI German subsidiary's innovative product, SpaceA flexible additive manufacturing system, is integrated into the solution to achieve customized and large-scale hybrid production.

Meanwhile, YIZUMI debuts its Direct Compounding Injection Molding (DCIM). The system suits biopolymers processing and reduces CO2 emission in the whole value chain.

In the field of thin-walled packaging, the Chinese manufacturer’s PAC series of thin-walled injection molding system solution is on display. The PAC200 machine is equipped with 4-cavity mold and in-mold labeling (IML) system.

Chen Hsong introduces new all-electric series

Chen Hsong introduces the new SUPERMASTER SPARK series to visitors at its booth. It is a series of all-electric injection molding machines with good looks and full of extraordinary quality and performance.

The SUPERMASTER 100-SPARK advanced injection molding machine combines a proprietary ultra-high-response servo system with very-high-speed advanced computer control, yielding no-compromise levels of responsiveness (from zero to 2000rpm in less than 30ms). That is ten times faster than traditional all-electric machines (300ms) in the China market, according to Chen Hsong.

Besides, its “All-Adapt” is a package of technologies that enables an all-electric injection molding machine to gain a wide application window, from ultra-thin-walled molding (such as high-speed packaging) to thick-walled, high-pressure parts (such as optics).

BORCH showcases new generation of two-platen smart machine

The 183sqm booth of BORCH is one of the largest among the Chinese exhibitors at K 2019. The highlight of the exhibits is the new generation of two-platen smart injection molding machine BU900-V, which is the main part of an vehicle front grille production system showcased at the booth.

The new two-platen smart machine BU900-V represents the experience and achievement of BORCH in the field of two-platen injection molding for more than ten years.

At the same time, BORCH promotes the concept of automation, intelligent information and smart manufacturing in the injection molding machines sector.

New generation of molding system from FCS Group

FCS Group is co-exhibiting with its European distributor - Windsor to launch the brand new “Advanced Servo Hydraulic IMM (FA-160)” and “All-Electric IMM (CT-300)”.

FA series is a newly released model of advanced servo hydraulic injection molding machine by FCS. The specifications and design are upgraded and optimized which platen strength improvement increase 30%, high-performance servo energy-saving oil pump achieves GB first-class verification that rise in precision, stability and improve the mold lifetime.

The appearance of machine design combines human ergonomics concept and aesthetics, not only integrate the advantage of electrical control, also provide optional modular specification to meet the requirement such as food packaging and thin-walled container industries.

The CT-300 is an all-electric injection molding machine in combination of Austria’s controller and Italy’s servo motor (PHASE) which increase the injection velocity, holding time and shot volume accuracy.

The mold opening, ejecting, and plasticizing processes can operate simultaneously, reducing the machine cycle time. It is suitable for some product requirements such as 3C, medical or optical products.

Adopting Japan’s injection screw (NSK) and linear ball slider in injection base moving unit enhances the smooth operation and energy saving.

With the IML automation system, CT-300 quickly and easily produces 8-cavity 100ml IML ice-cream cups. It doubles production output through the 4+4 cavities stack mold technology, and uses mold cavity flow balance module for monitoring and automatic compensation and screening of defective products to achieve unmanned production monitoring.

WELLTEC highlights its high-end engineering capability

WELLTEC demonstrates its competitive advantage in the high-end manufacturing field at the show, with the JSeII 650 medium-sized two-platen machine equipped with IML automation system. The machine runs the production of a one-cavity children stool solution.

The company has invested a lot of resources in the development of smart manufacturing system. The iSee 4.0 intelligent monitoring cloud platform facilitates the real-time upload of the machine running process parameters, quality indicators, scheduling, maintenance and other data.

Jwell focuses on new processing and recycling solutions

As one of the largest manufacturers of plastic extrusion machinery in China, Jwell presents the new processing technology: co-extrusion pipe production line with four machines.

The core of the production line is the fourth generation of high-speed, energy-saving single-screw extrusion technology from Jwell. It is equipped with the newly developed industrial control system software of the company.

The connection network is based on the cloud platform to realize real-time maintenance diagnosis, remotely monitor the operating system and screen, and check the equipment running output, energy consumption and yield rate at any time.

For the circular economy, the high-yield and energy-saving PET bottle flake recycling granulation equipment was demonstrated. As PET bottle flakes have strict requirements on the viscosity and color during the process of recycling, the equipment iseasy to operate and convenient in maintenance.

JCTIMES’ advanced dies contribute to circular economy

JCTIMES focuses on small and exquisite exhibits, showcasing 600mm quick opening die, 570mm 3-layer in-mold biaxial stretching die (with dispenser for co-extrusion can achieve 9-layer co-extrusion of biaxial stretched products) ), 600mm two-layer in-mold co-extrusion coating die.

Circular economy is the main theme of K 2019. The products of JCTIMES, such as the circular plate filter and the new oil-line double-column filter, achieve the integration of materials, production and design to improve the efficiency of material usage.
