KraussMaffei does opt against the usual active participation in Fakuma 2020.

KraussMaffei stated that, even under the conditions of strict hygiene and safety measures, it does see no viable way to offer its customers and service providers a satisfactory trade show experience. Also, the risk of infection, present for all attendees including the employees, could not be eliminated.

Final go-ahead expected for end of July

With the declaration of intent issued by the state government of Baden-Württemberg on June 23, which states that trade fairs with more than 1000 participating persons will once again be permitted as of the September 1, trade fair promoters P. E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG and their project team for organising Fakuma 2020 will switch from the compulsory waiting mode to the aggressive implementation mode.

Schall’s stated goal is to be able to give exhibitors and cooperation partners the go-ahead for Fakuma 2020 no later than the end of July 2020.
