WITTMANN group held an online press conference before the openiong of Fakuma 2021. In addtion to introducing the highlight exhibits, the company also reported its latest business development and investment in facility expansion.

Regarding order entry of 2021, the group achieved new record levels in the first quarter and has maintained its strong performance even in August and September. The group, however, expects a decrease of order to a more "normal" or possibly lower than normal level due to the severe material shortage.

In terms of revenue forecast for 2021, WITTMANN group estimated it to be around €360 million to €380 million, representing some 20% rise when compared to 2020.

The group stated that, availability of material and components determines its actual revenue, which means having a normal parts situation will enable the revenue to reach €400 million or above. While with the present backlog effect, the group noted that this impact will not be obvious before end of the first quarter or the middle of 2022.
