In the context of global environmental governance, plastic pollution control has become an important item on agenda. As one of the world's largest plastic producers and consumers, China has been committed to achieve a balance between economic development and environmental protection.


In order to promote the sustainable development of China's petroleum and chemical industries and find a sustainable path that takes into account environmental protection and industry development, the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation (CPCIF) and the Institute of Public and Environmental Affairs (IPE) collaborate to release the “2024 Building a Circular Ecosystem - Exploring China's Solutions for Post-Consumer Plastic Pollution Control” report in Chinese and English.  


The report focuses on the recycling of post-consumer plastics and provides practical suggestions and solutions for plastic pollution control in China and around the world.
