Rupert Posner is based at Unilever’s global headquarters in London. His work focuses on shaping policy and market frameworks that enable the chemicals value chain to reduce GHG emissions and transition from virgin fossil carbon to renewable and recycled feedstocks—central to delivering circularity and Unilever’s net zero ambition.
He leads advocacy across priority markets including Europe, India, Brazil and China, working at the intersection of climate policy, materials transition and industrial decarbonisation, closely engaging with policymakers, industry partners and value chain stakeholders.
A climate and sustainability leader with a background in corporate affairs and strategic communications, Rupert has worked across government, multinationals and the non-profit sector, partnering with global leaders to shape impactful policy initiatives supporting the low-carbon transition.
