At CHINAPLAS, Pattamasuda Gulsavate, Acting Marketing Strategy Division Manager of PTT Polymer Marketing (PTTPM), said that automotive and packaging industries, among others, are two of the biggest growth drivers for the company in China.

The medical sector, she pointed out, is also a niche but interesting market offering huge potential.

Around 40-50% of the company’s products are sold in China, according to Ms Gulsavate. It currently has two offices in Guangzhou and Shanghai, but there is no imminent plan to add a third location here, she added.
