Husky to debut new barrier solution for PET beverage packaging at NPE 2015

Jan 13, 2015

Husky Injection Molding Systems will be showing its latest technologies for the beverage packaging, medical and hot runner markets at NPE 2015.

The Canada-based machinery supplier will have a HyPET HPP5 system running at its booth, a fully integrated injection molding system for polyethylene terephthalate (PET) preform. The system will be running SHOTSCOPE NX, Husky's integrated process and production monitoring system that provides a real-time snapshot of information to help optimize overall factory efficiency.

Husky will also debut its barrier solution based on the HyPET HPP5 platform, providing a cost-effective system for PET packaging that were previously impossible for applications that required a barrier.

Moreover, Husky will show its latest hot runner and controller innovations, including UNIFY pre-assembled manifold systems, ALTANIUM MATRIX2 hot runner and mold controllers, and its next generation valve gate nozzles.

Completing its exhibition portfolio will be medical solutions from Sch?ttli, now part of the Husky family. At NPE 2015, Husky will showcase its targeted, tooling-first technology for select medical applications, including syringes, infusion/transfusion products, and diagnostic systems.
