KURZ introduces colored, transparent diffractive label design

LEONHARD KURZ introduces LIGHT LINE inVISIBLE, a new label design from the LIGHT LINE series. This is a colored, transparent diffractive design. It takes the appearance of transparent substrates, in particular, to a whole new level and enables interplay of colors.

 

LIGHT LINE inVISIBLE creates a holographic effect that is combined with a translucent color layer. Due to the highly transparent colors, the diffractive structure is accentuated in a special way and can optimally showcase its play of light in the reflections.

 

The designs can be overprinted inline via cold transfer and used both partially and over full surfaces — to give the finished product a special shine.

“LIGHT LINE inVISIBLE represents the innovative further development of the existing KURZ range and transforms transparent labels into breathtaking, dazzling eyecatchers,” stated Sabrina Durastante, Product Manager LIGHT LINE at LEONHARD KURZ.

 

As a real innovation, some of the LIGHT LINE inVISIBLE designs were combined with the exclusive KURZ trend colors. These colors are identified each year by the thin-film specialist’s interdisciplinary design team following extensive research, and reflect current social trends.

 

The combination of the semi-transparent color and the respective LIGHT LINE design creates impressive, novel effects. KURZ customers can, however, not only choose from the existing color and effect combinations, but also opt for individual color matching on request, using the colors and LINE designs they have selected.

 

The new product line will initially be available as an extension of the KPO series with cold transfer. As these are common applications in flexo printing, the new product line can be integrated into existing systems without any complex conversions.

 

KURZ is hosting the KURZ LABEL WEEKS on the premises of the Fürth company headquarters until October 28, 2022. Visitors can experience the visual effects of LIGHT LINE inVISIBLE up close.

 

Also, with its in-house trade fair the manufacturer of decorative and functional coatings as well as corresponding machine systems would like to give its customers, suppliers, and partners as well as all interested parties and press representatives the opportunity to discover new machines, pioneering processes, and sustainable solutions on site.
