Source:Source: CPRJ Editorial Team Date :2014-10-29 Editor :(AL)

On September 24, Husky Injection Molding Systems hosted its 2014 Husky World Tour - the Sch?ttli Medical Conference in Shanghai, China.

The one-day event featured presentations from industry experts, including John Taylor from B. Braun Group, Mark Thompson from Keller and Heckman LLP, and Sophia Wang, Consulting Director at Frost & Sullivan.

Topics covered in the presentations include "The potential of lightweighting medical components", "Innovations in medical mold technology for complex and high precision parts", and "Medical market trends in the Asian market".

"The Husky World Tour event in Shanghai was a great way for us to connect with our local customers," said Henry Zhang, Husky's Director of Business Development for Medical and Specialty Packaging. "Focusing on the challenges facing such a specific market really allowed us to delve deeply into issues and trends that the Medical market in Asia Pacific deal with on a regular basis, and gain a better understanding of where Husky and Sch?ttli can position our solutions."

It was the first Husky World Tour event co-hosted by Sch?ttli, a medical and closure molds maker acquired by Husky in December 2013.
