Pal Packaging selects INEOS Styrolution’s rPS for food containers

INEOS Styrolution, a global leader in styrenics, and Pal Packaging, a leading vertically integrated manufacturer and distributor of food packaging and foodservice products, will partner on styrenics-based sustainable food contact applications.

 

Pal Packaging now incorporates the new mechanically recycled Styrolution PS ECO, a 100% recycled polystyrene, in new food packaging solutions.

 

After successful trials with the new recycled material provided by INEOS Styrolution, Pal Packaging was impressed with the ease of processing and the quality of the final product.

Konstantinos Roumpos, Quality and R&D manager at PALAMIDIS, commented, “INEOS Styrolution made it a seamless transition for us to offer our customers a sustainable packaging solution. We are eager to go ahead with sustainable packaging solutions starting with poultry and mushroom packaging.”
