Medical plastics forum to open in Tianjin

A forum on the applications of plastics and rubber in medical industry will be held from September 14-15 in Tianjin, China.

Hosted jointly by CLIMA (China Light Industry Machinery Association), Medical plastics unit under CPPIA (China Plastics Processing Industry Association) with supports from various Tianjin based academic institutions and societies, the forum will also be supported China Plastic and Rubber Journal (CPRJ).

After automotive and electronics, medical plastics is widely considered the next industry for rapid growth. In China, the domestic market enjoys double digit growth during the outbreak of financial crisis. Fueled by the annual growth of 15-20%, it is also projected that China will surpass Japan in coming years and become the second largest medical device market in the world.

The forum will address various areas in medical plastics including policies, regulations, latest medical reform, technology breakthroughs, new applications, use of injection molding machine, technology integration, application of COC, etc.
