BASF introduces a new Consumer Electronics toolkit with collections of wearables and mobile phone protective cases made with Elastollan Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU).

The collection of mobile phone protective cases features six designs made with Elastollan. The material possesses good defense against scratch, UV, discoloration, good transparency, and easy coloring. The protective cases can also be made with bio content, fulfilling consumer electronic brands’ sustainability goals.

The watch strap collection combines sophisticated style with protection against every day wear and tear. Created in partnership with Meiban and their IMS innovative tooling technology, the collection of textured straps made with Elastollan provides a soft touch feeling and good mechanical properties, including abrasion and UV resistance.

By using mixed reality devices, users can instantly visualize interactive 3D constructs for a richer and more immersive experience. The advanced technology also enables remote collaboration and streamlined creative workflows of ideas and concepts.
