PLAST returns in September

It has been five years since the last edition. PLAST – International Exhibition for the Plastics and Rubber Industry is coming back and will be held from 5-8 September, 2023 at the Fiera Milano fairgrounds in Rho-Pero, Milan, Italy.

As one of the most dedicated platform of sharing the latest technologies, materials, and solutions in the industry, the trade fair this year has attracted over 800 exhibitors to sign up and occupy over 34,000 square meters of exhibition area.

Promaplast srl, the trade fair organizer, commented that dozens of exhibitors participating for the first time or returning after missing a few editions are clear evidence of the attractiveness of the event. This is also shown by the confirmed return of the Chinese and Iranian pavilions and the debut of the French collective.

Machinery, auxiliary equipment, and plastics and rubber molds act as the core of PLAST 2023 which will take up six halls, presenting more than 3,500 equipment. In addition, the trade fair will cover innovative materials and high-tech finished products.

PLAST 2023 will include over 800 exhibitors.

According to the organizer, Hall 9 and 11 will focus on raw materials, Hall 13 and 15 will be dedicated to extrusion, and exhibitors of injection molding, blow-molding and auxiliaries will be centralized in Hall 22 and 24.

Three satellite fairs will be conducted again, highlighting three sub-sectors: RUBBER will focus on the world of rubber, 3D PLAST will put emphasis on additive manufacturing and its related technologies, and PLAST-MAT will concentrate on innovative plastics.

Thanks to the collaboration with ICE-Agenzia, the StartUp area will be implemented as well, providing merited visibility to innovative solutions by emerging operators. Plenty of seminars, workshops, and company presentations will offer a wealth of opportunities for professionals to exchange ideas.
