EvoBLOW XL: Fastest blower for large PET and rPET containers by Sidel

Sidel has launched its extended blowing range – the ultra-fast EvoBLOW XL machine for large PET containers, which is suitable for water, edible oil and food markets.

High productivity and flexible production

 

With 75% of parts in common with the existing EvoBLOW range, the machine is available as a stand-alone or integrated combi solution. It provides high level of quality and extended performance for a wide range of bottle formats for up to 8-10L.

 

Equipped with an ergonomic embedded mold handling tool, heavy mold positioning is simplified and ensures safety. Mobile mold storage unit also provides fast and safe access to molds close to the machine.

 

The new blower features flexible oven configurations with a wide choice of bottleneck dimensions to flexibly handle various types of large bottles.

The new blower delivers high productivity and cost-efficiency.

 

Using an optimized process and blowing curve with its new powerful blowing circuit and valves, the machine delivers outstanding material distribution at the fastest speed with 1,500 bph per mold.

 

It also delivers high production efficiency with the highest market blowing outputs, up to 18,000 bottles per hour (bph) and 98% proven Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

 

EvoBLOW XL can also be integrated easily with other Sidel solutions such as its latest ultrarapid changeover system Bottle Switch.

 

Sustainability contribution

 

EvoBLOW XL includes features which contribute to sustainability.

 

To adapt the increasing demand for rPET, EvoBLOW XL possesses proven process capabilities from virgin PET to up to 100% rPET.

 

Additionally, the machine offers lightweighting opportunities for customers which can provide significant savings on PET costs and minimize CO2 emissions. This includes the possibility to switch from HDPE to PET bottles to further reduce carbon footprint.

 

New design of blowing circuits and valves also facilitate reducing energy consumption.
