Davis-Standard invests in global service capabilities

Davis-Standard, a manufacturer of extrusion and converting technology, expands its service and support capabilities by investing in one global service team, critical spare parts inventory, new service products and advanced digital infrastructure. These enhanced capabilities are designed to support all equipment manufactured by the company and its subsidiaries, including Maillefer.

Davis-Standard invests in service and support capabilities.

 

The investment covers four core areas. Firstly, an expanded network of expert service technicians is established to ensure localized support for customers. For US-based customers, the goal is to have certified technician within a 3-hour radius of customer sites, ensuring faster resolution of customer issues.

 

Secondly, Davis-Standard stocks more than 1,000 critical spare parts in its VIP program. This ensures an all-time part availability.

 

Moreover, flexible preventative maintenance programs, including rebuild and repair programs, are provided to minimize unplanned downtime and increase line performance and throughput.

 

Last but not least, the company has invested in a Service Cloud, advanced data analytics and remote monitoring/IOT capabilities. Together with digital transformation, sustaining more innovations ensures optimization of equipment.
