Chemours offers effective and sustainable rutile titanium dioxide pigment

Chemours offers Ti-Pure TS-1510, a highly efficient rutile titanium dioxide pigment manufactured with proprietary chloride process, which is a revolutionary processing technology.


This grade is designed to significantly enhance processing efficiency in plastics applications including POMB, unlocking up to 6% lower net carbon footprint from the advanced pigment manufacturing process through masterbatch production. It is also part of the Ti-Pure Sustainability product series.

Ti-Pure TS-1510 can be applied to high-temperature plastics application with a warm white tone.

 

Ti-Pure TS-1510 provides a list of advantages:

 

  • Up to 12.5% processing energy reduction for plastic processing

  • Improved line productivity enables up to a 30% increase in compounding

  • Smaller package size due to higher bulk density, with a 50% reduction in package height

  • Easier and more complete unloading with faster feed rates

  • Increased flowability for higher efficiency

  • Low dusting allows cleaner production areas

  • Packaging design for easy recycling and reduced material usage

 

The grade is suitable for high-temperature plastics applications with a warm white tone:

 

  • High-temperature cast and extrusion coating films

  • Extrusion coating paper

  • High-quality color masterbatch for color-match applications
