Amcor expands thermoforming capabilities for healthcare manufacturing in North America
Amcor announced a significant expansion of its thermoforming production capacity for the healthcare market in North America.

Amcor expand its thermoforming capabilities at its healthcare manufacturing plant in Oshkosh.
The expansion includes addition of automated, state-of-the-art thermoforming equipment at Amcor’s healthcare manufacturing plant in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
Expected to be operational as early as December 2024, the new equipment will be located in the Class 7 cleanroom at the plant, which operates under the ISO13485 quality system.
The expansion will support increasing demand in medical, pharmaceutical and consumer health sectors. It will also allow customers to source thermoforms and companion die-cut lids from a single location, facilitating streamline product manufacturing and distribution.
“As demand grows, this strategic investment underscores Amcor’s commitment to being a true growth partner in anticipating and meeting our customers’ unique thermoforming needs,” Art Castro, vice president and general manager of Amcor Flexibles North America Healthcare.
