Perstorp buys out minority partner at China site

Perstorp, a sustainable solutions provider, bought out its minority partner in the joint venture Shandong Perstorp Chemical, formerly named Shandong Fufeng Perstorp Chemical, which owned and operated Site Zibo in Shandong, China. Perstorp is now the sole owner of the site.

Established in 2007, the Site Zibo operates polyol manufacturing. Gaining full ownership will ensure Perstorp can continue developing the site and can make substantial site upgrades to safeguard the competitiveness of the site.

 

“Our ambition is to continue developing safety, sustainability and operational excellence at Site Zibo,” said Magnus Lannér, EVP Integrated Supply Chain.

 

With the company’s ambitious sustainability targets for 2030, Scope 1 roadmap of Site Zibo has a number of projects designed to reduce emission while also minimizing waste production and water consumption.
