Two Union rPET lines for rigid packaging installed in Mexico

Union Officine Meccaniche installed two rPET lines for its old customer in Mexico. With the latest installment, the customer’s facility owns a total of 16 Union lines.

 

The two lines are designed to work with both PET and rPET flakes. They guarantee a perfect sheet for the thermoforming and form fill and Sealing (FFS) industry for the food sector.

 

The lines have a production capacity of over 1,000 kg/h, on a useful width of 1,300mm and with thickness range of 0.160-1.6mm.

 

All the lines are connected remotely to allow continuous and timely assistance to customers around the world.

Background of Union Officine Meccaniche

 

Union Officine Meccaniche not only is a manufacturer of extrusion plants with flat die technology for rigid packaging, but also is a developer of open gate software for managing complex plants and entire factories.

 

The company offers solutions including:

 

  • Rigid packaging, flexible packaging, and printing and bio materials

  • XPS expanded insulating panels and PET and PE or structured panels with a honeycomb core

  • Compact sheet with optical quality and composite sheets with aluminum/steel sheets

  • TPO waterproofing geomembranes

  • Hollow profile sheet
