CHINAPLAS 2024: TRIA to present granulators for thermoforming and blow molding

TRIA will present two granulators that dedicated to thermoforming and blow molding at CHINAPLAS 2024, which will take place in Shanghai on April 23-26.

 

TS 30 Series for thermoforming

 

TRIA will present TS 30 Series for thermoforming. The series can grind PP, PS, PET and PLA sheets from production lines up to a maximum width of 1570mm, thickness up to 3mm, with cups oriented both upward and downward, with a maximum height of 120mm.

The grinding chamber has undergone a restyling, including increased internal space that improves the grip of the material by the rotating knives, standard water cooling ensures the grinding of thermoformed sheets with temperatures up to 80°C / 176°F, and Nitox treatment to reduce wear over time.

 

Anti-slip rollers and anti-sheet winding system are also introduced for the grinding compartment of the TS.

 

Three models – 9030, 12030, and 15030, are available.

 

BM 20 Series for blow molding

 

TRIA will also present BM 20 Series for blow molding, which combines features of tangential cutting chamber with reduce footprint. The high-performance machine features reduced consumption, compact dimensions and the ability to grind small hollow objects, such as bottles and detergent bottles.

A wider hopper and the shape of the grinding chamber, reminiscent of the typical larger series for blow molding, ensuring that the material does not block or float but is immediately captured by the rotating knives.

 

In addition, there is a screen with a surface equal to approximately 50% of the knife rotation, ensuring a higher production of ground material and with high quality. The machine can also access to parts subject to regular maintenance safely and without the need for tools; hopper and soundproof box.
