YUDO: Hot runner market expected to grow

Apr 23, 2024

YUDO (Suzhou) Hot Runner Systems Co., Ltd. brings a range of innovative hot runner solutions to CHINAPLAS 2024, including TINA PLS series and AG angled nozzle series specifically for headlight injection systems, high quality automotive parts injection system and multi-cavity TINA PMC nozzle series for medical and packaging, ISO diffusion welding technology, YUDO equipment (ABIMAN robot, mold temperature controller, dehumidification dryer), etc.

TINA PMC nozzle series focus on multi-cavity product applications. It was based on special structural design and material applications to achieve optimal thermal profile of nozzle tip and provide longer lifespan of valve pin and gate insert. It is suitable for small nozzle pocket and compact pitch cutout as well.

TINA PMC nozzle series can achieve high precision and gate quality.

Advanced manufacturing technologies with reliable nozzle design achieve better gate quality of part and effective leakage prevention performance of the hot runner system, improved mold mass productions stability. The series are suitable for most medical and packaging, cosmetics and closure applications.

All hot runner parts from YUDO, including thermocouple, coil heater, valve gate and pin, nozzle, manifold and temperature controller, are developed in-house, to optimize parts quality, shorten delivery time and control cost.

Robin Cao, Director of Multi-Cavity Department, YUDO (Suzhou) Hot Runner Systems Co., Ltd., says that the Group is more optimistic about the hot runner market growth in 2024. It is also expected that application for green material will significantly increase.

“As consumers have higher requirements for product quality and design, cost effective and reliable hot runners’ market share will increase, especially for multi-cavity hot runners,” he says. Moreover, wide spread of artificial intelligence (AI) and automated production will popularize application for hot runner.

Cao adds that as the global economy will grow in a slow pace in 2024, global demand on injection molding application may increase, especially for automotive, electronics and medical sectors, resulting in more popular application of hot runner.

YUDO was established in 1980. With 43 years of experience in hot runner sector, it has become one of the global companies with the largest scale and involving most comprehensive sectors in the industry. Its business segments include home appliances, automotive, electronics, medical, packaging and so on.

At the moment, the Group has 93 service points around the globe, with 9 production bases in Europe, North America, South America and Asia, providing more than 90,000 hot runner systems to the global customers annually.
