TaipeiPLAS and ShoeTech Taipei are set to make a comeback on September 24-28, 2024, at Hall 1 of Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center.

The organizers, Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry (TAMI), expect a full recovery on the scale of event to pre-pandemic levels, with the goal to attract 500 exhibitors in 2,500 booths and more than 2,000 international trade visitors.

TaipeiPLAS will be held on September 24-28, 2024, at Hall 1 of Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center.

In recent years, many international brands proposed commitments and goals for low-carbon and recycled content products, and promoted carbon management throughout the supply chain, to accelerate the transformation towards net-zero in the plastics and shoe-making industries.

Moreover, global trends also drive the industry’s focus to material innovation, energy-saving, waste reductions and resource recycling in the manufacturing process.

The two coexisting exhibitions feature key themes that are hot topics in manufacturing industry, including “Innovative Materials”, “Advanced Manufacturing” and “Circular Economy”.

TaipeiPLAS 2024 also adopts a new slogan “Shaping All PLASbility” to highlight the industry’s commitment to sustainability.

In addition to comprehensive exhibits of smart machinery and new materials, TaipeiPLAS 2024 will launch brand-new themed areas – “Eco Service & Sustainable Packaging” and “Low-carbon & Green”. These areas will present dynamic innovations and applications in various sectors, such as smart mobility, medical supplies, aerospace and green building.
