BoReTech achieves 99% of impurity separation rate in PET recycling

Jun 19, 2024

Zhejiang BoReTech Environmental Engineering Co., LTD has introduced the independently developed Mega Aspirator, a negative pressure dust separation device that aims to address the dust and label impurities issues prevalent in plastic recycling equipment while enhancing flake purification effectiveness.

By leveraging the aerodynamic characteristics of PET flakes and labels, the Mega Aspirator separates lightweight impurities such as labels from PET flakes. This not only ensures high-quality PET flakes but also recycles separated labels inline and filters dust, preventing dispersion into the air.

A specially designed feeding device ensures uniform distribution of PET flakes, with precise control over airflow and pressure to prevent material accumulation that might affect separation efficiency.

Test results indicate that the Mega Aspirator achieves a separation efficiency of up to 99%, with a loss rate of less than 1% for PET flakes (depends on local raw material thickness and label type).

The device’s processing capacity can be easily expanded from 3 tons per hour to 8 tons per hour, offering flexibility for business growth.
