The signing ceremony was held at EREMA's headquarters in Ansfelden, Austria in June 2024. Representatives of the Chinese government, including a delegation from Zhenjiang Dantu District led by Mao Jian and Party Secretary of the Dantu District Committee, attended the ceremony.

The new VACUREMA will be added to the machinery at the Dantu site from the end of 2025.

Four EREMA systems are currently in use at Ceville, including an INTAREMA TVEplus with the ReFresher anti-odor technology and three VACUREMA systems for bottle-to-bottle recycling.

Bin Huang, Managing Director of Ceville, commented EREMA’s product stands out as it is approved for direct food contact by European and North American food safety authorities and global brand owners.

Over the next few years, Ceville will be investing primarily in the expansion of PET recycling solutions. The company’s current recycling capacity is 60,000 tons per year. This is set to increase to 150,000 tons by the end of 2025, with a focus on rPET.

"Our capacity will increase in the coming years. We want to produce excellent rPET, rHDPE and rPP for our customers, and to achieve this, I intend to further expand our cooperation with EREMA,” Huang emphasized.
