ProAmpac launches its innovative ProActive Recyclable Fresh Tray FT-1000. This patent-pending polypropylene-based tray is classified as plastic #5 and approved for curbside recycling.

The ProActive Recyclable Fresh Tray supports a variety of food service and grocery applications.

 

FT-1000 offers excellent durability. With robust impact resistance and outstanding stiffness, the tray supports a variety of food service and grocery applications such as meat, seafood, dairy and produce. Moreover, it boasts excellent water and grease resistance, ensuring optimum shelf appearance and product freshness.

 

In addition, FT-1000 is comprised of up to 90% air, which significantly reduces material footprint.

 

The Recyclable Fresh Tray also maintains line speed on wrapping equipment, without compromising performance.

 

“This tray is a significant step forward in our commitment to supporting the food industry's environmental initiatives and advancing recyclable packaging choices,” concluded Pascal Labrie, Vice President General Manager for ProAmpac’s tray business.
