Wanhua Chemical is actively driving green chemistry technology and sustainable development forward. In the webinar “Create high quality plastics material for sustainable lifestyle” to be held on 26 September, the company will share its strategy of sustainability and low-carbon materials, as well as introduce the new product - Wanafone® Sulfone Polymer.

Green materials for comprehensive applications

 

Wanhua Chemical has been putting enormous effort in developing sustainable materials, like post-consumer recycled (PCR) polycarbonate (PC), biodegradable polybutylene adipate terephthalate (PBAT), and bio-based thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), among others.

 

For example, the company works with partners, who collect material from used car light, PC sheet material, water bucket, etc. Through Wanhua Chemical’s technology, the plastic waste is given second life.

 

In addition, Wanhua Chemical owns independent whole industry chain of polyamide 12 (PA12/Nylon 12). The high-performance Wanamid® Nylon12 can be applied in the automotive, consumer goods and industrial industries.

New polymer product with superior properties

 

Wanafone® Sulfone Polymer polysulfone (PSU) and polyphenylsulfone (PPSU) feature superior properties including good heat, hydrolysis and chemical resistance, as well as high strength and biocompatibility.

 

The new product is suitable for various applications, such as medical, water contact and treatment, food contact, maternal and infant (feeding bottle, breast pump bottle, etc.), and so on.
