EREMA has expanded its ReadyMac plastics recycling system lineup with the introduction of the ReadyMac 500 "Heavy Duty" (HD) version, now featuring the EREMA Laserfilter. This upgrade enhances the machine’s capability to handle demanding post-consumer materials while maintaining its reputation as a cost-effective and versatile solution.

The new ReadyMac 500 HD, equipped with the Laserfilter, is specifically designed for processing challenging materials and will be available from 1 April 2025 at a fixed price of EUR 440,000.

The new ReadyMac 500 HD, equipped with the Laserfilter, is specifically designed for handlinig demanding post-consumer materials while maintaining its reputation as a cost-effective and versatile solution.

The Laserfilter technology ensures high-quality output by efficiently removing contaminants such as paper, wood, aluminum, and foreign polymers from the plastic melt. A built-in scraper system keeps the screen clean for continuous operation. For customers with different needs, the standard ReadyMac 500 with the proven SW RTF® screen changer system remains available at EUR 375,000, offering flexibility for various recycling applications.

Designed for cost-conscious businesses in post-consumer recycling, the ReadyMac 500 HD provides an accessible entry point with a throughput of 500 kg/h and an attractive price-performance ratio. It’s an ideal solution for companies that require reliable performance without the need for a fully customized system.

"The updated ReadyMac has hit the mark in terms of market requirements and has exceeded our expectations, especially given the current economic environment," says Michael Köhnhofer, Head of the ReadyMac Business Unit at EREMA.

"The ReadyMac 500 is an excellent choice for companies looking for an economical solution without compromising on quality or EREMA’s renowned service," Köhnhofer adds. The machine incorporates EREMA’s TVE technology, which ensures optimal degassing after filtration. Customers also benefit from global service support, including rapid spare parts delivery, expert commissioning, and comprehensive training programs.

Those interested in seeing the ReadyMac 500 HD in action can visit Stand E20 at the Plastics Recycling Show Europe in Amsterdam on 1–2 April 2025.
