SACMI redefines bottle cap production with ultra-fast machine
The Chinese market demands top quality and productivity. That is why SACMI specifically chose CHINAPLAS 2025 to showcase one of its major innovations to the market: the very productive CCM compression press.

SACMI’s latest CCM compression press achieves a 50% of increase in productivity and a 15% of reduction in energy consumption.
As introduced, this machine is capable of reaching production speeds of up to 2,850 caps per minute with 64 molds, marking a 50% of increase in productivity compared to the current range. A 15% of reduction in energy consumption is also achieved compared to the previous generation.
SACMI aims not only to reduce operating costs, but also provide a precise response to the needs of the Chinese market, supporting the extremely high production capacity of bottling lines and the volumes demanded by the market.
A specific area of the company booth will focus on showing the benefits of using original SACMI molds, such as improved production performance, consistent quality and reliability over time.
SACMI has complemented its technological leadership in the field of cap presses for many years with the development of a complete range of machines for preform production. The IPS 400 is reportedly the only preform press on the market that integrates the vision system directly into the machine.
Digitalization of systems and quality control are driving both the Chinese and global markets. For this reason, the Italian manufacturer offers a wide range of vision systems for quality control of caps, preforms, and metal.
The SACMI CVS systems are integrated into the production machines and their processes. This approach extends vision inspection from mere analysis of defects to the gathering of information that can be used to correct and optimize the process.
In addition, it supplies a new generation of digital tools for machines, such as Smart Pack and Smart Care services, which are increasingly widespread and appreciated in China.
