Brückner Maschinenbau sets to make a significant impact at CHINAPLAS 2025. The company presents its latest advancements in highly efficient film stretching lines, aimed at reducing energy and raw material consumption while maximizing production efficiency.

A key highlight of Brückner’s presentation is its BOPP film lines, which now achieve an unprecedented production speed of 700 m/min with a width of 10.4 m, making them suitable for a broad range of packaging applications.

The company has also introduced a new transport system for BOPET packaging film lines, capable of reaching 650 m/min.

Brückner manufactures the market’s widest BOPA film production lines, offering 8.4 m for sequential and 7.4 m for simultaneous stretching technologies. Meanwhile, the company will unveil a battery separator film line concept with 8.7 m width.

Brückner is also making strides in advanced film applications, particularly for capacitor films and composite current collector films.

With sequential and simultaneous stretching processes reaching up to 8.4 m in width, these technologies enable the production of extremely thin films for electric vehicle (EV) applications and high energy density films used in the renewable energy sector.

The film thickness is as low as 2.5 microns, or even 2 microns when utilizing LISIM? simultaneous stretching technology. Additionally, the line uptime exceeds 90%, further enhancing production efficiency.

For the first time, Brückner also presents an innovative exhaust air cleaning system in the stretching oven (TDO).

This two-stage system effectively cleans and filters condensate from TDO exhaust air, ensuring compliance with increasingly stringent local and regional environmental regulations.

The system can also be integrated with heat recovery technology to further minimize environmental impact and is available as a retrofit for existing production lines.

Brückner Servtec highlights film manufacturing solutions

Visitor can also explore the offerings from other members of the Brückner Group, including Brückner Servtec, Kiefel, and PackSys Global.

Among them, Brückner Servtec presents local service solutions, expertise, and specialization in order to best serve the local film manufacturing market.

The company also introduces the state-of-the-art inline coating technology as an upgrade option, which is a sustainable solution for the packaging industry. By applying thin, uniform coatings to BOPP and BOPE films, the solution allows higher recyclability. The upgrade improves the quality of recycled materials, supports a greener future, and offers advanced film properties to open up future markets.
