RODOLFO COMERIO opens the COMERIO CALENDERING TECHNOLOGY CENTER (CCTCHub) in Italy, a technology center to develop, test, and validate innovative calendering processes on an industrial scale.

CCTCHub dedicates to develop and test innovative calendering processes.

 

The technology center serves as a technological platform of reference for companies, designers, engineers, and researchers in sustainable, customized, and high-performance solutions.

 

With two complete calendering lines, the center offers realistic simulation of production processes, real-time data collection for feasibility studies.

 

The RODOLFO COMERIO Technical Department also provide full design support focused on delivering tailor-made, high-efficiency systems, with particular attention to waste reduction and circular economy, energy efficiency, quick production changeover, and enhanced industrial performance.

 

LAB1 for resilient flooring and high-tech materials

 

Designed for the production of SPC, LVT, and advanced resilient flooring, handling highly filled polymers and composite materials, LAB1 features production capacity up to 2000 kg/h, 4-roll calender with patented modular configuration protected by industrial secrecy, double winder for continuous processing, and more.

 

Its configuration also supports elastomer calendering and specialized formulations across the automotive, aerospace, and industrial sectors, where precision and performance are essential.

 

LAB2 for multiple sectors

 

LAB2 features a throughput up to 2000 kg/h, 4-roll calender “F” configuration, inline lamination with technical films, and double winder for continuous processing.

 

It is tailored to meet the needs of flexibility and operational simplicity, making it ideal for a wide range of applications, including packaging, tire and automotive sectors, furniture, waterproof membranes, and more.
