The groundbreaking ceremony for the Kingfa Sci. & Tech. plant in Mexico was grandly held in the core industrial area of San Luis Potosí.

According to the plan, the Mexican plant will cover an area of 150,000 square meters and aims to establish production lines with an annual output of 300,000 tons of high-performance modified plastics (including 200,000 tons of general-purpose plastics and 100,000 tons of engineering plastics).

The products will be applied in high-growth industries such as automotive, home appliances, and electronics, providing fast and high-quality localized services to customers in the Americas.

Kingfa's plant in Mexico is located in the core industrial area of San Luis Potosí.

Kingfa began its overseas expansion in 2013 and has established R&D and production bases in Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America. Following the factory in Detroit in the US, the Mexico project marks the Chinese supplier’s second production base in North America, signifying an enhancement of its global supply chain capabilities.

Kingfa emphasized that the Mexican plant will fully leverage the capabilities of the company’s headquarters, utilizing R&D and global supply chain advantages to create a benchmark factory for intelligent manufacturing and low-carbon products.

It is anticipated that the Mexican project will create 500 local jobs, and the project team will collaborate with local vocational colleges to establish technical classes to train professionals in polymer materials.
