Adsale Direct | Palsgaard to bring food-grade additives to K 2025

Three trends dominate the present plastics industry – food safety, sustainability and product performance. Palsgaard addresses the three pillars and brings polymer additives that are safe enough to eat.

 

At the EMG Pre K Press Event in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, Palsgaard presented its latest products and revealed its exhibits at K 2025.

 

As the only Chinese media invited to this event, Adsale Plastics Network also conducted an interview with Ulrik Aunskjær, Director of Bio-Speciality Additives at Palsgaard, to introduce the company and its business strategy in the Chinese market.

Palsgaard’s Einar series of additives

 

Palsgaard’s Einar series of additives for masterbatches and polymer applications is based on food-grade vegetable oils, such as sunflower oil, rapeseed oil and RSPO-certified palm oils. They are also produced with processes that feature reduced energy consumption and CO2 emissions, addressing sustainability commitment.

 

Palsgaard introduced its latest products – Einar 608 and Einar 987 – for different applications.

 

Einar 608 can be applied to polyethylene. In film application, the additive features general purpose cold and hot fog while in injection molding application, it offers anti-stat effect.

 

And for Einar 987, it can be applied to both polypropylene and polyethylene. When applied to polypropylene or polyethylene in anti-fouling application, the additive features reactor anti-stat.

 

Both Einar 608 and Einar 987 will be showcased at K 2025.

 

Ready to serve global customers

 

Palsgaards owns production in Denmark, the Netherlands and Malaysia, covering most of the globe. The company also has a dedicated polymer application lab in Denmark, in which new polymer applications will be developed and tested.
