Chen Hsong achieves +29% in revenue, global businesses expanded

Chen Hsong Holdings Limited released its annual financial report of 2024/25 fiscal year (year ended on March 31, 2025). The report show that the company achieved HK$2.595 million revenue, a year-on-year (YoY) growth of 29%, while profit attributable to equity holders increased by 53% to HK$154 million.

 

Steady growth in Chinese market while global expansion continuously deepens

 

The Chinese market remained as core, accounting for more than 70% of Chen Hsong’s business. Chen Hsong’s Chinese businesses resulted in HK$18.79 million turnover, a 26.27% YoY growth. Meanwhile, its global businesses achieved turnover of HK$716 million, a 37% increase on YoY.

 

The growth in Chinese market was resulted by the continuous supply of high-end injection molding equipment for strategic partners, such as BYD. This also facilitated the productivity expansion of new energy vehicle (NEV) industry.

 

Benefited by the global expansion strategy, Chen Hsong and its subsidiary expanded in emerging markets, including India, Indonesia, Brazil, and Mexico, leading to global sales growth.

 

Accelerating technological upgrading with more specialized machine launches

 

Chen Hsong also accelerated its innovation in product and technology, with the new injection molding equipment launches for growing industries, such as NEV, medical, 3C electronics, and packaging industries.

 

During this financial year, the company launched a number of product line extensions including new models of large-tonnage two-platen machines, all electric machines, hybrid hydraulic-electric machines and multi-material machines.

 

At the same time, the company also launched specialized machines, including SUPER-PACK high-speed packaging machine, and new series for PET preforms. Among them, a 4,500-ton two-platen machine with an industry-leading 280kg shot-pot-type injection unit was successfully delivered to overseas customer.

Another 3,600-ton two-platen machine, which also achieved the industry-leading ultra-large shot-weight of 200kg, was awarded the prestigious “New Technology and New Product” Certificate by the Plastics Machinery Industry Association of China.

 

Advanced intelligent manufacturing

 

In intelligent manufacturing area, Chen Hsong established “Smart Manufacturing Services” business unit and “Digital Technology Department” to accelerate digitalization and AI development.

 

With the launch of “iChen Smart Family” platform, the company provided clients with a full range of services from one-top turn-key factory projects to cloud-based big-data systems to advanced mold setting services utilizing advanced deep-AI models.

 

Among these, the “iChen AI Molder” service, which employs advanced AI models to tackle the difficult but critical task of mold setting, alleviating the pain of hiring experienced technicians for many clients.

 

Future prospects

 

In the future, Chen Hsong anticipates the ongoing reconstruction of global supply chain. The company will continue to adhere to prudent financial practices, accelerate its investments into global emerging markets, step up investment in research and development to promote industrial upgrading.

 

Furthermore, it will continue to optimize its supply chain management, control costs and enhance operating efficiency in order to face the challenges ahead caused by rapid changes in international business environment.
