BASF has signed a cooperation agreement with the Harbin Insititute of Technology (HIT) to jointly conduct research relating to the material solutions for sustainable infrastructure applications.

According to the agreement, research teams from BASF and the Harbin Institute of Technology will work together on the testing of new applications for BASF’s advanced materials to bring lower emissions and energy costs to the construction industry.

“The Harbin Institute of Technology is eager to bring its expertise in advanced materials and engineering research to this partnership,” said Mr. Liu Hong, Vice President, Harbin Institute of Technology.
