HRC and SACC sign partnership agreement on composite parts for Airbus A220 wing body

Jan 19, 2026

AVIC SAC Commercial Aircraft (SACC), a subsidiary of Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), and HRC, the major provider of composite materials solutions, officially signed a special contract for composite material components for the wing-body fairing of A220 project.

This agreement not only stands the first major project after the two companies established strategic partnership in July 2025, but also marks a deeper integration and scalable upgrading of composite materials for aerospace in China, which facilitate future industrial expansion.

Long-standing manufacturer for civil aircraft

With more than 40 years of experience in manufacturing civil aircraft, SACC has established long-term partnership with Internationally renowned aircraft manufacturers such as Airbus.

As an important Chinese supplier for Airbus A220 aircraft, SACC achieves high-efficiency large-scale delivery of core structural parts, including forward fuselage, center fuselage, aft fuselage, passenger door and tail.

Moreover, SACC also signed an MoU with Airbus regarding wing-body fairing rotation of A220 aircraft, standing as a key role in the whole manufacturing system.

Leading composite material solution supplier

As a provider of comprehensive composite material solutions, HRC has achieved results in multiple application fields, such as new energy vehicles, general aviation, and low-altitude economy, in recent years. It has successively become the designated carbon fiber partner of many well-known OEMs at home and abroad, with its R&D, engineering design, industrial mass production and assembly capabilities.

As a key strategic partner of SACC in the A220 project, HRC will fully leverage its strengths in composite material molding to undertake high-quality manufacturing of multiple components and system integration work for various sections, creating representative products that lead aviation industry standards while meeting supply chain security and efficiency requirements.

This collaboration across the entire industry chain will also provide stronger support for increasing Airbus commercial aircraft production, accelerating progress to enter market, and upgrading product quality.

As a start, the two companies will continue strengthening strategic partnership and technology exchange. Through value adding and development in dual directions, the two partners will together shape a leading standard for aerospace manufacturing, building an innovative and efficient future for aerospace industry.
