Bandera doubles up at Plast: Innovations at both exhibition and its open house
Bandera will double up its presence during Plast 2026 – with innovations displayed at the exhibition and demonstrated at its open house event at its headquarters in Busto Arsizio (Varese, Italy).

Plast onsite: New coating & laminating business unit, ANY MA software platform, and more
At Plast 2026, Bandera will officially introduce its new business unit dedicated to coating and laminating technologies. After many years of experience in this market and continuous investment in research and development, the company has decided to elevate this technology to a fully independent division, aligned with its other strategic business units.
The coating and laminating division focuses on combining plastic film with a variety of substrates, including liquid packaging materials, aluminum, paper, and plastics, enabling highly customized and technologically advanced solutions for multiple industrial sectors.
The coating and laminating lines, as well as the other technologies, will be managed through ANY MA, the company’s proprietary software platform.

In 2026, ANY MA introduces a significant expansion of its artificial intelligence capabilities, marking a major step forward in intelligent line control. AI integration enables simultaneous management of multiple lines, continuous quality monitoring, and automatic detection and correction of anomalies. These features reduce the impact of human error and enhance stability and efficiency.
Another key development for 2026 is the evolution of Bandera’s service and spare parts division. The company now offers 24/7 remote support, complemented by specialized local assistance through agents and regional offices. This enhanced structure ensures faster response times, improved operational continuity, and a significantly better customer experience, reinforcing Bandera’s commitment to long‑term partnership and reliability.
Open house: Complete extrusion line in operation and equipment on display
At the open house, Bandera will show a range of equipment on display and a complete extrusion line in operation at The House of Extrusion.
The company will show the Barrier Flex 7‑layer blown film line running live. This advanced system is designed for barrier films, lamination films, flexo and printing films, and general packaging applications, delivering an output of 550 kg/h with LDPE and a thickness range from 20 to 200 microns. The demonstration highlights Bandera’s commitment to high‑performance solutions for the flexible packaging industry.
