INTCO Recycling: An one-stop PCR solution for manufacturing’s emerging needs

Sep 1, 2026

Against the backdrop of the ongoing push for greener transformation in manufacturing, recycled materials have become a topic that can’t be avoided. More and more downstream companies are asking how to find material solutions that both meet recycled-content requirements and can be reliably integrated into main production lines.

From Materials to Applications

In this trend, INTCO Recycling focuses on one-stop PCR (post-consumer recycled) solution for manufacturing customers. Backed by an end-to-end industry-chain layout spanning collection, recycling, deep processing, and terminal applications, INTCO Recycling continues to provide material solutions around recycled PS, PET, HDPE, and PP—solutions that balance performance, stability, compliance, and application fit. By doing so, the company drives recycled plastics from “usable” to “really usable”, and from single-point substitution to large-scale applications.

Taking recycled PS as an example: Chinese market has already moved beyond the “from 0 to 1” adoption stage. What truly tests a company’s capabilities is how to introduce the material into real production reliably and efficiently—while maintaining consistent quality and an on-time supply rhythm during mass production.

For example, consider a thermoforming packaging company. When trying to introduce recycled PS, the customer’s initial challenge was not about whether they recognized the environmental concept. Instead, it was whether the material could smoothly adapt to the production line, whether batch-to-batch performance could remain consistent, and whether future supply could remain stable and continuous.

To address these implementation challenges, INTCO Recycling leverages a mature recycling and recycling-to-processing system, strong capabilities in securing raw-material supply, and strict quality-control abilities. The company provides more consistent recycled PS material solutions to help customers introduce the material and scale up production more smoothly under their existing equipment and process conditions.

INTCO Recycling’s capabilities go beyond simply “producing recycled PS”. It can provide more complete support tailored to customers’ real application scenarios—covering material stability, supply continuity, and application-fit efficiency—so that recycled PS can truly land on the production line and better serve production needs.

Why INTCO Recycling?

Supporting this application capability is INTCO Recycling’s long-term accumulation in technology, standards, and scale.

To date, INTCO Recycling holds 10 nationally authorized invention patents and 91 utility model patents. It has participated in the formulation of 2 national standards and 1 group standard, and it has led the development of 1 industry standard.

NTCO Recycling aims to be a leader in resources recycling technology.

With its systematic recycling-and-reprocessing layout, INTCO Recycling has the capacity to recycle and reuse around 100,000 tons of PS plastic each year. It can help reduce 200,000 tons of carbon emissions globally, save 300,000 tons of crude-oil resources, and reduce the felling of about 2 million trees every year.

For manufacturing customers, INTCO Recycling can provide not only recycled materials, but also stronger support for continuous supply, stable batch performance, and large-scale supporting supply—making the journey from sample making and verification to routine procurement more stable, smooth, and efficient.

A PCR Materials System Built for Manufacturing

If recycled PS demonstrates INTCO Recycling’s deployment capability in a single material, even more worth attention is that INTCO Recycling has already formed a one-stop PCR product system covering multiple materials and multiple scenarios—better able to meet the differentiated needs of manufacturing customers.

1. Flagship Product

rPS pellets are made from 100% recycled feedstock, produced from globally sourced EPS foam. In terms of purity, compressive strength, flow properties, and more, rPS is extremely close to virgin GPPS. It has been able to supply customers in fields such as XPS insulation boards, decorative trim strips, and appliance inner linings.

2. PET Segment

The food-grade rPET pellets produced at INTCO Recycling’s Malaysia base have obtained both FDA and EFSA food-contact certifications. Quality is fully aligned with virgin PET, meeting the dual requirements of European and U.S. fast-moving consumer goods brands for both ESG procurement and compliant applications. In addition, fiber-grade pellets and food-grade sheet/film products can also cover applications such as spinning and food packaging.

3. Polyolefin Segment

INTCO Recycling has also built a fairly complete product layout. rPE offers performance such as resistance to acids and alkalis and impact resistance, enabling use in applications like drainage and water supply pipes and geotextile/geotechnical membranes. rPP covers both standard-grade and modified-grade products—adaptable from ordinary household injection-molded items to automotive parts and appliance housings. It can also be customized with special formulations such as flame retardancy and UV resistance based on customer needs.

From rPS to rPET, and then to rPE and rPP, INTCO Recycling is not offering a single one-off material product. Instead, it provides a PCR solution system that serves different manufacturing scenarios while balancing performance, compliance, and sustainability goals.

Find the Answer at CRRE

Circular Resources and Recycling Expo (CRRE) focuses on connecting and coordinating the entire resource-circulation chain. INTCO Recycling brings one-stop, full-categories PCR solution for high-value conversion of post-consumer plastics—responding to the industry’s three biggest concerns right now: cost reduction and efficiency improvement, global compliance, and low-carbon transformation.

As an important professional platform for the resource-circulation industry, the significance of CRRE is precisely to truly connect the collection side, the material side, the manufacturing side, and the application side.

On November 25–27, 2026, welcome to attend CRRE on-site. Let trend judgments become solution matching, and industry consensus become collaboration opportunities.
