(K-Interview) Colines’ new cast line features high energy-saving, flexibility and automation

COLINES, an Italian extrusion lines manufacturer, showcased the company’s latest technological solutions at the K 2022 fairground. The eye catcher of the exhibits was the latest generation of cast line for stretch film ALLrollEX 3000mm.
In addition to the benefit of high energy-saving and flexibility, the new flagship line on show was equipped with the revolutionary MASTERMIND system, allowing automatic set-up, according to Gabriele Peccetti, Marketing Director & Sales Manager.
As introduced, Infrared (IR) heaters were installed on the extruders, which can save energy up to 22% when compared to conventional ceramic heaters. It is also noteworthy that the extruders account for about 70% of the energy consumption of the line.
The Italian manufacturer also officially presented MASTERMIND, the brand new proprietary APC system which can be considered a game-changer. The system was in action on the ALLrollEX 3000mm cast line.
COLINES had two further lines running in its booth: NO.EL' flagship pre-1000-3R, the suitable solution for off-line prestretched film production, and the new generation of our ALLWRAPPER machine, the any-bundle wrapper using stretch film in place of shrink film.
