(K-Interview) Circularity a key for the plastics industry to walk through energy crisis
In an onsite interview with Adsale Plastics Network (AdsaleCPRJ.com), Ing. Wolfgang Bohmayr, Cluster-Manager, Business Upper Austria – OÖ Wirtschaftsagentur GmbH, remarked that K 2022 was a satisfactory and the right platform for Austrian member companies to present their newest products and solutions.
In particular, one of the guiding themes of the trade fair was circular economy, and the Austrian members include some world’s leading recycling machinery and sustainable materials suppliers, he explained.
Besides the development of the members, Ing. Wolfgang Bohmayr shared his opinion on the challenges that the plastics industry is facing, for example, the energy crisis. He believes that the difficulties will be eased in the coming year. When asked about the solution to the disrupted supply chain, he stated that circularity is again the crucial part.
