During an online interview with Adsale Plastics Network (AdsaleCPRJ.com) for K 2022, Luigi Tondi, Sales Director of LK Europe, remarked that “Since the outbreak of COVID-19, European customers prefer to manufacture medical plastic parts in Europe locally. We believe that the processing and manufacturing of medical plastic parts will continually keep growing in Europe. Medical industry will be a key application field for LK to open up the European market.”

He said that because of the energy crisis, energy saving and consumption reduction have become the most factors concerned by European customers in the field of injection molding machines. “We are pleased that the all-electric machine series can help customers reduce energy costs in plants, lower production noise and make the production environment better.”

As revealed by Luigi, LK is accelerating the development and local services in Europe; set up mold trial centers in Europe so as to run molds anytime and anywhere as required by customers, and it can provide customized solutions according to customers’ demand, enabling all customers to access to the economical solutions of LKIMM.

Besides, it was the first time for LK to exhibit new upgraded brand of the LKIMM "TOPS" series injection molding machine in Europe, namely, ELETTRICA all electric injection molding machine and FORZA two-platen injection molding machine.

The all-electric series ELETTRICA can realize the high accuracy and efficiency, in technical aspect, the machine can be reached 700mm/s maximum speed of mold opening and closing and ±0.01mm accuracy of mold clamping position and plasticizing position control.

ELETTRICA is equipped with a 15-inch integrated display and control screen and Intel X86 processor. The screen supports the flexible process control system and OPC-UA protocol interface. ELETTRICA is suitable for the intelligent manufacturing of medical, packaging, 3C electronics and other industries.

FORZA is designed with complete new layout with CMF craftsmanship. It is upgraded from four aspects: stronger servo power, wider space between tie bars, proportional valve for mold opening and clamping, and optimized hydraulic oil circuit.

The injection unit is adopted with single injection cylinder of high precision and injection speed. Linear guide rail is mounted on the injection unit and mold clamping unit, the whole machine more responsive and more energy-saving.

The series of Forza injection molding machine can effectively produce deep-cavity parts, composite materials, multi-component mold, and high-gloss plastic products.

Luigi also revealed that LK signed a contract with a customer in Turkey on 6,000T injection molding machine and this machine will soon roll out in Europe.
