#4 IPS 300, the mold r-evolution by SACMI

SACMI (SHANGHAI) MACHINERY EQUIPMENT CO., LTD. Elite Member

Source:www.sacmi.com Date:2022-09-01

SACMI doesn't just make machines. It produces complete, integrated solutions for each section of the production line. Needless to say, mold manufacturing plays a key role here and recent years have seen it evolve quickly with a series of increasingly sophisticated proprietary solutions.

This aims not to replace but, rather, complement SACMI's policy of facilitating - on both the new IPS 300 and the IPS 400 - the customer’s investment by ensuring presses are also compatible with molds produced by third parties.

...but SACMI is better (HR17)

Every year SACMI supplies the market with an average of over 3,200 stacks. One of the most recent developments on the mold front concerns the latest range of HR17 hot runners, which have already achieved considerable market success thanks to their numerous advantages.

To cite just a few key examples, benefits include less dust and longer maintenance intervals, less on-material stress and, therefore, a significantly reduced risk of acetaldehyde formation, plus better balance and control on the nozzles.

Nano-pitch?

Alongside the development of HR17, SACMI has given the new IPS 300 range a further feature that provides even greater versatility and performance when producing small formats.

Thanks to the Nano-pitch patent - co-developed by SACMI and its partners - it’s now possible to have up to 144 cavities on the IPS400 and 128 on the IPS300.

More specifically, this allows for greater productivity with 26/22 mm necks, making this a truly unique solution within the current panorama of available technologies.

#1 SACMI IPS 300: a technological challenge

#2 IPS 300: market-leading productivity

#3 SACMI IPS 300, taking preform production towards total quality control
