在本次云论坛上，博乐特殊钢（上海）有限公司（Bohler）高级技术市场经理张华认为液态硅胶模具要求更高的精度，但模具材料的选择与热塑性塑料模具材料的选择逻辑近似，但要求更高的边缘稳定性和尺寸稳定性，对材料的冶炼工艺，纯净度要求更高，各向同性要更好，抛光性能和高抗压强度。
