Packaging market leader Amcor is committed to eco-friendly plastic packaging, striving to make it stand out from other packaging products and contribute to circular economy.
In the interview for “Industry And Market Outlook: Talk with Market Leaders”, Xin She, President of Greater China at Amcor, emphasized that 67% packaging products of Amcor Europe are recyclable and reusable. In China, the percentage is 60%.
Amcor is also dedicated to develop smart packaging and fresh food packaging, according to Mr. She. QR code, RFID and AR technologies are applied along with blockchain technology to increase traceability. Meanwhile, new fresh food packaging is increasingly used for replacing conventional e-commerce food packaging.
