Self-heating food packaging (SHFP) can protect the heating pack inside the packaging from being damaged, and ensure no collapse during the heating process. It has high requirements for high impact resistance, high temperature resistance and superior sealing.
SHFP is produced by thin-wall injection molding in general. The injection molding system showcased in the video from acmeplas features a four-cavity mould, and the cycle time is less than 7s.
