金发科技双百计划：废弃塑料制品的无害化回收及高质化利用

近日，由保尔森基金会与清华大学共同主办的“第六届保尔森可持续发展奖”颁奖典礼在北京举行。其中，金发科技申报的“双百计划：废弃塑料制品的无害化回收及高质化利用项目”项目，从100多个创新解决方案中脱颖而出，荣获2019保尔森可持续发展奖优胜奖,是保尔森奖设立以来第一个得奖的材料类项目。
金发科技的“双百计划”运用先进技术，将塑料垃圾加工成环保高性能再生塑料，广泛运用于电子、纺织、家电和汽车等产品，解决了塑料垃圾之困。该项目对废弃塑料加工后，性能可达到或接近原生树脂，实现了废塑料到新制品的循环再生，从而大大减少了新塑料的生产。同时，该项目拉动了上游回收网络的建立与完善，构建了可持续的循环经济模式，并可在全球复制。项目计划在2030年实现年产100万吨环保高性能再生塑料，并参与年回收100万吨塑料垃圾。
循环再生塑料是金发科技六大核心产品之一。作为高分子新材料龙头企业，2013年6月，金发科技在清远市（石角镇）设立广东金发科技有限公司，总投资100亿元，建设高附加值、资源高质化利用废旧塑料，年产值达300亿元的高分子新材料产业示范基地，该项目已连续三年列入“广东省重点建设项目”、“清远市重点建设项目”。
